On February 8, 2024, the Board of Directors of QuantumScape Corporation appointed Dr. Siva Sivaram, as the Company`s Chief Executive Officer and as a member of the Board, effective February 15, 2024. On July 31, 2023, QuantumScape Corporation announced the appointment of Dr. Siva Sivaram, Has extensive experience in the semiconductor and storage industry, including various roles at Western Digital from 2016 to 2023 such as President and Executive Vice President of Silicon Technology and Manufacturing. Dr. Fasoli, Prior Experience : Several key leadership roles at Western Digital (2016-2025), including Senior Vice President of Memory Productization , Multiple leadership roles at SanDisk Corporation (2006-2016), including Vice President of Product Development, Senior Director of the Intelligent Memory System, and Senior Director of Product Development . Education: Masters and Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering, Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy.

Dr. Mohit Singh Has experience in advanced battery and materials development, including serving as Vice President of Development at QuantumScape. Co-founded Seeo Inc, where served as Chief Technology Officer, and later the company was acquired by Bosch GmbH. Earlier experience includes work in corporate research at Arkema and postdoctoral research in Chemical Engineering at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for the University of California, Berkeley. Holds a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in India and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Tulane University.

Dr. Timothy Holme Has experience as a Research Associate at Stanford University from 2008 to 2011. Holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering, all from Stanford University.

Kevin Hettrich Has experience spanning electric vehicle battery development, finance, consulting, and private equity. Held multiple roles at QuantumScape, including Vice President of Business Operations from 2016 to 2018 and Senior Director of Finance along with various product management positions from 2012 to 2016. Earlier experience includes working as a Private Equity Associate at Bain Capital from 2007 to 2009 and as a Business Analyst at McKinsey and Company from 2004 to 2007. Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pomona College, a Master of Business Administration from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a Master of Science in Environment and Resources from Stanford University.

Has extensive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, including serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of Matrix Semiconductor from 2006 to 2015 and Chief Executive Officer of Tabula Inc. from 2001 to 2006. Brad Buss Currently serves as a board member of AECOM since 2020 and Marvell Technology Group Ltd. since 2018. Has extensive executive experience, including roles as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SolarCity Corporation from 2014 to 2016 and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cypress Semiconductor Corporation from 2005 to 2014. Ms. Lovett Currently serves as a board member of AdvanSix Inc. since 2021 and Trex Company Inc. since 2021. Has extensive leadership experience across major industrial and manufacturing organizations, including serving as Vice President of Operations for Defense, Space and Security at The Boeing Company from 2015 to 2019. Previously held key roles at Alcoa Corporation, including Global Chief Diversity Officer from 2012 to 2015 and Director of Manufacturing Forging from 2007 to 2012. Earlier career includes 15 years at Ford Motor Company, with positions such as Plant Manager for New Model Programs from 2006 to 2007 and Assistant Plant Manager for the Atlanta Assembly from 2005 to 2006. Also served on the board of Shiloh Industries from 2019 to 2020. Dipender Saluja Currently serves as Managing Director at Capricorn Investment Group since 2006 and as a board member of Joby Aviation Inc. since 2021 and Navitas Semiconductor Inc. since 2021, along with board roles at several private companies. Dr. Gunther Mendl Currently serves as Head of the Center of Excellence Battery Cell at Volkswagen AG since 2022 and also holds the role of VW Director as referenced in board representation agreements. Has extensive experience in electric mobility and battery technology, having led the Battery Systems and Battery Cells Division at Volkswagen AG from 2020 to 2022. Previously served as Head of Development for E Traction, Charging and Battery Systems at Audi AG from 2017 to 2020, following various senior roles at Audi AG from 2001 to 2017. Michael McCarthy Has extensive legal and executive experience in the telecommunications and networking industry. Held multiple senior roles at Infinera Corporation from 2003 to 2013, including Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel, and Chief Administrative Officer. Previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Ciena Corporation from 1997 to 2003. On March 4, 2026, Ross Niebergall was appointed to the Board of Directors of QuantumScape Corporation, to serve as a director with a term of office expiring at the Company's next annual meeting of stockholders. Dr. Niebergall is an experienced executive with decades of service in the defense sector, leading research and development and technology commercialization in defense applications for multiple defense primes. Dr. Niebergall has served on the board of V2X, Inc. (NYSE: VVX), a provider of critical mission solutions and support services to the defense customers worldwide, since January 2026. He served as President of the Aerojet Rocketdyne segment for L3Harris Technologies, Inc. (L3Harris) (NYSE: LHX), an aerospace and defense technology company, from 2023 to 2025. Previously, Dr. Niebergall served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of L3Harris from 2019 to 2023, and as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Harris Corporation, a major U.S. defense and communications technology company from 2017 until 2019, when it merged into L3Harris. He previously worked for more than 10 years at RTX Corporation (formerly Raytheon Technologies Corporation), an aerospace and defense company, holding various roles including Vice President, Engineering and Technology of Raytheon and CEO of Thales-Raytheon Systems LLC. Dr. Niebergall has a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Regina in Canada, and a Master's and Doctorate degree in mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.

On January 29, 2026, Geoffrey Ribar was appointed to the Board of Directors of QuantumScape Corporation, to serve as a director with a term of office expiring at the Company's next annual meeting of stockholders. Mr. Ribar is a veteran finance and technology executive with more than four decades of experience across the semiconductor and broader technology sectors. Mr. Ribar serves on the boards of MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: MTSI), a leading supplier of semiconductor products, since 2017, Everspin Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: MRAM), a semiconductor company specializing in Magnetoresistive RAM (MRAM) technologies, since 2018, and Acacia Research Corporation (NASDAQ: ACTG), an acquirer and operator of businesses across the industrial, energy, and technology sectors, since 2023. Over the course of his career, he has held senior financial leadership roles at numerous public and private companies, including serving as Chief Financial Officer of Cadence Design Systems, Inc., Telegent Systems, Inc., Matrix Semiconductor, Inc. and NVIDIA Corporation. Mr. Ribar holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
