On April 24, 2025, the Board of Directors of Spire Inc. appointed Scott Doyle, currently the Chief Operating Officer of the Company and Chief Executive Officer of Spire Missouri Inc. and Spire Alabama Inc., as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company effective April 24, 2025. On April 24, 2025, the Board also appointed Mr. Doyle as a director to serve until the 2027 Annual Meeting of Shareholders and until his successor is elected and qualified, effective as of the Transition Effective Date. Mr. Doyle, 53, has served as the Company's Chief Operating Officer since January 2024. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Doyle served as Executive Vice President of Utility Operations at CenterPoint Energy in Houston, Texas, leading electric and natural gas businesses serving seven million customers across multiple states. Prior to this role, he was CenterPoint's Executive Vice President of Natural Gas from April 2019 to January 2022, and he held numerous executive leadership positions of increasing responsibility at CenterPoint in natural gas operations and regulatory and public affairs. Mr. Doyle currently serves on the board of directors of the United Way of Greater St. Louis, the Regional Business Council and the Southern Gas Association. He also serves on the Engineering Advisory Council of Texas A&M University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He previously has held board positions with the American Gas Association, Goodwill Industries of Houston, the American Gas Foundation, Central Indiana Corporate Partnership and the Association of Electric Companies of Texas.

As chief legal officer, Matthew J. Aplington is responsible for all legal functions at Spire. Previously, Matt served as vice president, general counsel of Spire, where he was responsible for corporate legal functions including litigation, labor and employment, claims, regulatory and commercial transactions. Matt joined Spire in 2016 as director of litigation and in 2019, became general counsel of Spire Missouri - the company's largest business unit - adding responsibility for representing the utility before the Missouri Public Service Commission and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. During that time, he received the In-House Counsel Award from Missouri Lawyers Media in the Public Company category. Prior to joining Spire, Matt spent 10 years in private law practice representing clients from diverse industries in both litigated and transactions matters. Matt received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law. He is a graduate of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Rate School and the American Gas Association (AGA) Executive Leadership Development Program. Matt is also active in several industry associations including the AGA, the Natural Gas Claims & Litigation Association and the Missouri Energy Development Association. In the community, Matt has served on the board of directors of the Christian Activity Center and the World Bird Sanctuary, and also was a member of Fair St. Louis' executive committee. He enjoys volunteering at his church and coaching youth soccer.

Mr. Ryan L. Hyman is the Senior Vice President, Chief Customer and Information Officer of the company. Previously Mr Hyman served as Senior Vice President, Chief Information and Innovation Officer (until July 2024) and Vice President, Chief Information Officer (until December 2018).

Mr. Stephen M. Mills is the President of Spire Missouri. Previously he served as Vice President and General Manager of Spire Missouri (until July 2023).

Mr. Jones served as co-head of Bank of America Merrill Lynch Commodities, Inc. (MLC) from 2007 until his retirement in March 2012. MLC is a global commodities trading business and a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America. Prior to taking leadership of MLC, he served as head of Merrill Lynch's Global Energy and Power Investment Banking Group. An investment banker with Merrill Lynch and The First Boston Corporation for over 20 years, Mr. Jones worked extensively with a variety of energy and power clients, with a particular focus on the natural gas and utility sectors. He has also served as an Executive in Residence at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on energy finance. Other public directorships: Mr. Jones served on the board of directors of Shell Midstream Partners GP LLC (the general partner of Shell Midstream Partners, LP) from 2014 until the partnership was acquired by Shell in 2022. He chaired the audit committee and served on the conflicts committee during his time on the board.

Mr. Borer served as chief executive officer as well as a member of the board of directors of DCP Midstream Partners, LP from November 2006 through his retirement in December 2012. DCP Midstream Partners, LP is a public midstream master limited partnership that is engaged in all stages of the midstream business for both natural gas and natural gas liquids. Other public directorships: Mr. Borer previously served on the board of directors of Texas Eastern Products Pipeline Company, LLC and DCP Midstream Partners, LP. Most recently, he served on the board of directors of Altus Midstream Company from 2017 to 2022, where he was a member of the audit committee.

Ms. Fogarty served as the senior vice president of internal audit and compliance at NextEra Energy, Inc. from 2011 through her retirement in June 2014. She previously served as vice president of internal audit at that company from 2005 to 2010 and director of internal audit from April 1993 through 2004. NextEra Energy, Inc. is a leading clean energy company and the parent company of Florida Power & Light, the largest rate-regulated electric utility in Florida.

Ms. Newberry retired in May 2010 as chairman of the board of The Newberry Group, a provider of information technology consulting services on a global basis, specializing in information systems, technology infrastructure, data and network security, and project management services. Ms. Newberry founded The Newberry Group in 1996 following a career in technology starting in the U.S. Air Force, McDonnell Douglas, and MasterCard International where she was vice president of MasterCom, a global profit and loss business unit.

Ms. Cook serves as senior vice president, chief administrative officer at Birmingham, Alabama-based Altec Inc., a leading provider of products and services to utility and telecommunications markets. In her role, Cook oversees and manages human resources, information services and the Altec/Styslinger Foundation. She also has extensive experience in economics and finance, previously holding various positions of increasing responsibility at Altec Inc., Sonat, Inc. and Protective Life Corp. Cook also co-founded and served as managing partner for Kinetic Partners, LLC, an energy project management, consulting and investment firm.

Mr. Koonce retired in February 2020 as executive vice president and president and chief executive officer of the Power Generation Group of Dominion Energy, Inc., which is a 50B market cap, 15B revenue gas and electric utility holding company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. He spent 20 years at Dominion in various roles, including chief executive officer of the Gas Infrastructure Group and chief executive officer of the Power Delivery Group. Prior to joining Dominion, Mr. Koonce spent more than 15 years at other companies in the energy sector.

Mr. Stupp has been president of Stupp Bros., Inc. since March 2004, chairman and chief executive officer since March 2014 and chief executive officer of Stupp Corporation since August 1995. Through its subsidiaries, Stupp Bros., Inc. fabricates steel highway and railroad bridges, provides broadband fiber service, and offers general, steel and industrial construction services. Mr. Stupp serves as a director of Stupp Bros., Inc. Other public directorships: Mr. Stupp joined the Atrion Corp. board in 1985, where he chaired the compensation committee and served on the audit committee until August 2024.

Mr. Ferrari retired in December 2020 from Edward Jones, where he served in various leadership roles, including general partner, chief information officer, and most recently, chief operating officer/chief administrative officer. He served on the firm's executive committee and management committee. Prior to working at Edward Jones, Mr. Ferrari worked on Wall Street for 22 years with Morgan Stanley, JJ Kenny and the Chase Manhattan Bank. He was the chair of the board of trustees and a member of the board of directors of the Securities Industry Institute.

Ms. Hightman retired in January 2021 after having served as executive vice president and chief legal officer of NiSource Inc., which is a 10B market cap, 5B revenue gas and electric utility holding company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. She also served as president and chief executive officer of Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, one of the largest natural gas utilities in the commonwealth, until its sale by NiSource Inc. in October 2020. Prior to joining NiSource in 2007, Ms. Hightman served as president of AT&T Illinois and led the Energy, Telecommunications and Public Utilities practice group at Schiff Hardin LLP, a national law firm.

On November 14, 2024, the Board of Directors of Spire Inc. approved the appointment Timothy W. Krick, 50, to the position of Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, each effective January 1, 2025. Mr. Krick has served since 2017 as the Company's Vice President and Controller. He has worked for the Company since 2014, and prior to joining Spire, he worked in finance at Sigma Aldrich for 14 years. Krick brings extensive experience to the role, with almost 11 years as part of Spire's finance team and another decade in accounting leadership roles at St. Louis-based Sigma-Aldrich.

On September 22, 2025, Spire Inc. named Mr. Steven C. Greenley to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer effective October 13, 2025. Most recently, Mr. Greenley worked for Enbridge Inc. (NYSE: ENB) as Senior Vice President - Commercial Services, Gas Distribution and Storage. Prior to this role, he worked at CenterPoint Energy (NYSE: CNP) for over twenty-five years, serving in numerous executive leadership positions, including Senior Vice President - Utility Operations Support, Senior Vice President - Generation Development (Indiana Electric), Senior Vice President - Gas Operations, Natural Gas Distribution, Vice President - Distribution Power Delivery (Houston Electric), Vice President - Customer Services, Division Vice President - Texas and Louisiana/Mississippi Regions.

As chief administrative officer and corporate secretary at Spire, Courtney M. Vomund is in-house counsel handling the company's corporate governance, securities, employee benefits and labor/employment matters. She is also the chief compliance officer and oversees communications and marketing, facilities, internal audit and sustainability. Courtney joined Spire in 2015 as associate general counsel and in 2020, was named assistant corporate secretary. In 2023, she was promoted to vice president, compliance and corporate secretary. Prior to joining Spire, Courtney spent almost 10 years in private law practice with a focus on ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation. Courtney received a B.A. from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. She is active in several industry associations including the Society for Corporate Governance, the Joint Committee on Employee Benefits, the American Bar Association, the In-House Benefit Council Network and the St. Louis chapter of the In-House Labor and Employment Attorneys. In the community, Courtney serves as chair on the board of directors of the Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments and previously was a board member of the Young Friends Council of Missouri Botanical Garden.
