Jeremy Stoppelman is our co-founder and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since our inception in 2004. Prior to founding Yelp, Mr. Stoppelman held various engineering roles at PayPal, Inc., an online payment company, from February 2000 to June 2003, most recently serving as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to PayPal, Mr. Stoppelman was a software engineer at Excite@Home, an Internet company, from August 1999 to January 2000. On June 8, 2026, Akhil Kuduvalli Ramesh, the Company's Senior Vice President, Product has been appointed to serve as Chief Product Officer effective July 3, 2026. Akhil joined Yelp in 2017 and leads the Consumer and Ads product teams, with more than 15 years of experience building vertical search and marketplaces. Prior to Yelp, Akhil held leadership roles at Indeed, where he helped scale jobseeker and employer-facing products globally, and at Cogo Labs, where he contributed to building several startups. On April 23, 2026, company notified Alex Levy, the Company's Senior Vice President, Engineering has been appointed to serve as Chief Technology Officer effective June 30, 2026. Mr. Alex Levy joined Yelp in 2013 and is responsible for the engineering teams that build Yelp's business owner experience, subscription products, and internal business technology platforms. Before Yelp, Alex served as a consultant and later as Head of Engineering for the healthcare analytics firm Arcadia. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Russian from Tufts University.
