Mr. Elliott is our founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. He also serves as Chairman of Equity Bank. Mr. Elliott began his banking career and was employed in various capacities by Home State Bank and Trust for six years following graduation from McPherson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management. He then joined Sunflower Bank as a Market President for two years before joining American Traffic Systems as its director of operations in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mr. Elliott then returned to Wichita to serve as Director of Marketing at Koch Industries, Inc., a privately held multinational corporation. He then rejoined Sunflower Bank as its Regional President.
