On August 13, 2024, the Board of Directors of the Company elected Angela L. Brown to the Board to serve for a term ending at the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Shareholders. Ms. Brown offers the Company a wealth of experience in the financial technology industry, including serving for ten years, until May 2023, as the President and CEO of Moneris Solutions Corporation, a Canadian merchant services company specializing in payment processing. Moneris is a joint venture privately owned by the Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal. Ms. Brown previously served as Group Executive, Enterprise Development, Merchants & Acceptance, for MasterCard Worldwide, and held multiple senior banking positions at both Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Toronto. Since 2016, Ms. Brown has served as a non-executive director of Altus Group (TSX: AIF), where she chairs the Human Resources and Compensation Committee. Ms. Brown holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto. On January 22, 2025, the Board of Directors unanimously elected Hugh S. (Beau) Cummins III to the Board, effective February 21, 2025. Mr. Cummins brings to the Company vast experience in the banking and payments industry, including most recently in his position from 2023 to 2025 as Vice Chair, Chief Operating Officer, and a member of Truist Financial Corporation's operating council. He previously led Truist's Wholesale group from 2021 to 2023, and from 2019 to 2021, he served as head of Truist's corporate and institutional group. He also served in multiple leadership positions with SunTrust Bank. Mr. Cummins currently serves on the board of directors of Atrium Health Foundation. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Cummins currently serves on the board of directors of Atrium Health Foundation. He served on the board of Truist Insurance Holdings and served on Miami University's Farmer School of Business Advisory Council as well as on Vanderbilt's Owen School of Business Board of Visitors. Mr. Cummins earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
Mr. Schuessler brings to the Company extensive experience in the payments and financial technology industry, including in his current position, which he has held since 2015, as Chief Executive Officer, President, and director of Evertec Group. He previously served as the President, International, at Global Payments between 2005 and 2014, and served in multiple leadership positions with American Express Corporate Services. He serves on the boards of Endeavor Puerto Rico, Smithsonian National Board, and Wharton Executive Education. He holds a bachelor's degree from New York University and an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, where he served on the Dean's Advisory Board for 13 years. He also completed the General Management Program at the Wharton School. On February 20, 2025, the Board of Directors of Deluxe Corporation elected Morgan M. (Mac) Schuessler, Jr. to the Board, effective February 21, 2025.
On August 20, 2025, the Board of Directors of Deluxe Corporation unanimously elected Michelle T. Collins to the Board, effective August 20, 2025. Ms. Collins recently served as Vice Chair and a member of Deloitte's U.S. Board of Directors. During her six-year tenure on the Board, she served as the Chair of the Governance Committee and Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee. During her career with Deloitte, Ms. Collins advised across a broad spectrum of issues, including business transformations, mergers and acquisitions, enterprise risk management, financial accounting and reporting, and SEC compliance. Ms. Collins also serves as a member of the board of directors of Owens Corning. Ms. Collins earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Brian Mahony joined us in February 2025 as Senior Vice President, President, Merchant Services. Prior to joining us, Mr. Mahony was employed by Elavon, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer from August 2022 to May 2024, as the head of transformation for the Payments business unit from February 2022 to August 2022, and as Chief Financial Officer from September 2019 to February 2022.
