Mr. Fehrman served as president and chief executive officer of Centuri Holdings, Inc., a strategic infrastructure services company, from January 2024 to July 2024. Mr. Fehrman served as president, chief executive officer, and a director of Berkshire Hathaway Energy Company (BHE), a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc., a multinational conglomerate (2018-2023). President and chief executive officer of MidAmerican Energy Company (2007-2018). Effective February 26, 2024, Benjamin G. S. Fowke, III, who has served on the Board since February 2022, was appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer and President. Director since February 2022. Former Interim Chief Executive Officer and President (February 2024 - July 2024) and Senior Adviser (August 2024 - October 2024) of the Company. Retired chairman of the board of directors of Xcel Energy Inc., a utility holding company (Xcel) (August 2011-December 2021), and retired chief executive officer of Xcel (August 2011 - August 2021). Mr. Fowke served as president of Xcel (August 2011 - March 2020), chief operating officer of Xcel (August 2009- August 2011) and chief financial officer of Xcel (October 2003 - August 2009). On July 20, 2026, the Board of Directors of American Electric Power Company, Inc. elected David S. Marriott and Charles J. Meyers to serve as directors of the Company effective July 20, 2026. Mr. Meyers has served as the Executive Chairman of Equinix, Inc. (Equinix), a provider of network colocation, interconnection, and managed services, since June 2024. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Equinix (2018-2024), President, Strategy, Services and Innovation of Equinix (2017-2018), Chief Operating Officer of Equinix (2013-2017), and President, Equinix Americas (2010-2013).

On July 20, 2026, the Board of Directors of American Electric Power Company, Inc. elected David S. Marriott to serve as directors of the Company effective July 20, 2026. Mr. Marriott has served on the Board of Directors of Marriott International, Inc. since 2021 and has served as Chairman of the Board of Marriott since 2022. Prior to that, Mr. Marriott served as President, U.S. Full Service Managed by Marriott (2018-2021), and Chief Operations Officer, The Americas, Eastern Region of Marriott (2010-2018). Mr. Marriott served in a variety of operational, sales and leadership roles with Marriott beginning in 1999.

Prior to joining Citigroup, Mr. Sauvage served in investment banking roles at Lehman Brothers, Inc. (1977-2008), including vice chairman and global head of Power, Utilities, and Renewables. Mr. Sauvage served as a vice chairman of the Wall Street Advisory Group and as a member of the executive committee for the EPRI Advisory Council.

On March 8, 2023, the Company's Board of Directors elected Kate Sturgess to serve as Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of the Company, effective May 9, 2023. As Chief Accounting Officer, Ms. Sturgess will serve as AEP's principal accounting officer. Ms. Sturgess has been Vice President, Controller of Edison International, a public utility holding company, since April 2022 and Vice President, Controller of its subsidiary Southern California Edison Company since July 2021. From May 2016 to April 2021, Ms. Sturgess held various financial Vice President roles at National Grid USA, an investor-owned energy company, including Vice President, U.S. Controller. Ms. Sturgess previously held roles of increasing responsibility at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, an independent registered accounting firm. Ms. Sturgess earned a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sheffield and is a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
